This is a very cheaply made guitar. The strings wouldn’t stay wound and my husband had to glue the string guide back on as it was attached crooked. Also, the holes that the strings rest in are too shallow and he had to cut the grooves deeper so we could tune the guitar. We kept it because the extras it came with were nice and worth the money we spent. It’s good enough for use as a toy/beginner item.

The guitar actually broke in half while trying to tighten the strings. I don’t know that there is anything else to say after that.

I purchased this guitar on line for my 5 year old grandson. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews on this item. It is definitely too cheap to give to a 5 year old. The strings are so cheap that they don’t even give off any sound when you pluck the strings. I feel ripped off and am sincerely considering doing less shopping on line as this was not my only problem this past Christmas. I ordered $300.00 worth of items on Amazon.com and although I updated my shopping basket several times, I ended up with a lot of duplicate orders arriving at my house. It really was not cool. I now own 3 Wii Nunchuks, 2 Nintendo DS Backyardigans games amongst other things. Not very happy at this point.

this product looks like a real guitar (only in miniature) My nephew loves it and the fact that it has it’s own case. it looks sturdy and looks enough like daddy’s for him to think it’s pretty cool! i was hoping it sounded a little better because it looks so real, but it won’t seem to hold the tuning. that’s ok. it’s not like a three-year old is actually going to play something pleasing to the ear anyway, right?

The item was shipped quickly which was nice, but it is dinged up and the strings broke the first time my 7 year old played it. It was inexpensive but I expected more from the product. I don’t recommend it.
