This is a high quality guitar with a beautiful sound. It was also at a great sale price.

This is a good beginner’s guitar. Don’t worry about ‘crappy tuners’ or anything else – it is $90, looks great (important to 6yr olds), and sounds great (in tune – for a cheap 3/4 guitar). Going up the frets, it isn’t 100% accurate, but you’d never notice (especially for what it is intended – if I jammed on it around a campfire no one would notice, etc). It’s always a good idea to get a guitar particularly sized for your student but this is one that I would think most smallish people would not be ruined by by getting their hands around (it might actually serve them well). Caveat: if you’re unsure what you’re doing consult a teacher. Rock on!
